What packages are outdated? Wt was not included in Hardy officially. I
don't understand.

If "alternate package repositories" means the repository mentioned in
the wiki (i. e. my PPA), the "risk" is exactly the same "risk" you
incur by using the official Ubuntu package. I am the Debian packager
for Wt. In fact, using the package from my PPA is probably safer
because I may have fixed some bugs

I was not aware of anybody using Wt on Hardy. If you change your mind,
tell me and I will backport the latest packages for Hardy too.
Currently I am providing packages for Debian sid (from debian.org),
Debian Lenny (from OpenSuse build Service) and Ubuntu Karmic (from my
PPA).
