I have seen that option before and obviously didn't read it properly as I assumed it meant heat generated the guid (but that is the -gg option). That will save me some work. At the very least, you could open a Feature Request. 2. This is a particular challenge with the Windows Installer due to the Component Rules. If you have a solution for including large number of files that does not violate the Component Rules that'd be a great thing to add to the WiX toolset. 3.
