Your msi should be caches on the users machine in c:\windows\installer iirc but 
it will have an odd name. Check whether you can find it. When it is cached if 
think all the binaries are removed so that it is only the install logic, if you 
are doing anything that runs one of the binaries on uninstall that can cause 
issues. As someone else said turn on logging and you should see the issue.
