Hi Ed,

thanks for your feedback! Actually there is nothing for me to suggest,
as all has been said already.

Maybe the only thing which needs to be added to my IMHO self explaining
former remarks about the Liquid Lemur desktop is the affirmation that
this is mainly a matter of my very own personal preference.

An empty desktop is not just void, it actually offers lots of space.

Just as i dislike to have to read a book in a crowded public place or to
work at a desk covered with all kinds of stuff leaving no room for my
own work requirements, i prefer an almost empty Linux desktop with no
visual distractions. It helps tremenduously to concentrate if there is
nothing around which needs to be actively ignored.

If you would download one of the ISO images provided via a torrent file
available at rumbero.org/wmlive and try it out on any suitable computer
or virtualization application, you would easily understand what i mean
without the need to waste any more words on my behalf.

Liquid Lemur is fine, but it is for a much different audience than the
one i try to serve. I care much more about "Form follows funtion", and
this is actually the main reason why i keep using WMaker since all these
years.

Instead of investing any time into visual enhancements, i put much more
emphasis on a more useful choice of applications, with a strong focus on
system administration interests. Any desktop is pointless if it doesn't
primarily serve the tasks which it is supposed to run. Any such desktop
environment should not be a means in itself, but should rather go out of
the way and leave the area to the users' needs.

In the meantime, there have already been a few more version updates of
WMLive and the web site has been updated accordingly. I keep running the
bittorrent client to provide the ISO images for download, but as the
logs have shown so far, nobody seems to have bothered yet to at least
only download the torrent file.

Thanks
Paul
