Paul and All -

I just installed the 32-bit version of wmlive-debian (Thanks, Jason Brower and
Paul). Paul, this is getting very good. The script solution you developed for
the grub2 installation failure works well, and is very slick - nice job on
this! I think you are very close to a finished product.

I would like to try to Debian Live Build templates you posted - perhaps in the
next week or so - or I may just wait until you have the next release ready and
try the Live Build then.

Only one little suggestion - please add a note to the grub splash informing
users how to enter kernel boot options if needed (it is the 'tab' key, BTW). I
have installed the 32-bit build on a very old Dell Inspiron 2650 (Pentium 4-M
CPU - 512Mb RAM). This system is PAE-capable but needs 'pci=noacpi' to boot
newer kernels - I am sure there are others who need to enter kernel boot
options and having the hot key needed posted on the initial splash screen is a
big help (I tried ESC, two or three function keys, before hitting 'tab' and
getting to the boot editor).

So this installation was on an older laptop with deprecated nVidia graphics
card, a PCMCIA cardbus adapter providing wireless (remember those?) and only
512Mb of RAM. I installed using a wireless connection via the PCMCIA card.
And still, everything went off smoothly and all of the applications are running
just fine on this older hardware.

Really good work, Paul - here are a couple of quick screenshots if anyone is
interested:
