Thanks Paul,
Thanks so much for getting back.
This is a real mystery to me - last year's release works, this year's
doesn't. For what it's worth, I think the issue starts with grub. Last
year's grub is version 1.99-23 and it starts out at 1920x1080 with
wmaker following suit whereas this year's version of grub is 1.99-27 and
it starts out small, ignoring the 'GRUB_GFXMODE' line.
I also run the latest Oracle VM VirtualBox so maybe I'll give it a whirl
and see what happens.
Thanks again and how's the RSI coming along?

Hi Don,
i fear i won't be able to help with this.
My last Linux related VMware desktop memories stem from sometime during
the midst of last decade or so. Since then i have moved on to Qemu/KVM
and at times also some little VirtualBox, but both not even in any
Windows environments.
So i fear i have not enough clues in this matter to be of any help.
Sorry for not being able to provide any support in this regard.
Best regards,
Paul

Paul,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this latest release. I hope your RSI
issue resolves itself soon. I'd have asked the following a few weeks ago
but my swamp filled up with several 'gators and I've just gotten back to
working with WMaker.
I'm still having a display size issue witdh the latest WMaker and VMware
9.0.2. WMaker comes up at 1280x768 whereas I would like it to come up at
1920x1080 and have my mouse work seamlessly between WMaker and Windows.
Everything worked in the last version of WMaker by installing VMware
Tools and adding "GRUB_GFXMODE=1920x1080" to /etc/defalut/grub (and
running 'update-grub') -and- I don't remember ever needing to run
'vmware-user'.
Now I have to run 'vmware-user' to get the mouse to operate properly and
then I have to run "Display Resolution" and "Session Restart" to get the
display work properly even though vbeinfo shows 1920x1080 is valid and
/etc/default/grub has been modified and updated.
What is the proper way to get where I want to go?
Thanks in advance.
Don
