If you compile wmaker with --enable-xrandr then wmaker automatically
restarts once xrandr changes are detected.

This dirty solution works fine when you are lucky, but there are
some cases where wmaker enters an infinite loop of restarts. That's
why this option is not enabled by default. It is also very hacky and
deserves to be nuked once a better solution is found.

You might want to check if it works for you, but you'll have to
compile wmaker yourself.
