Yea, specially the productivity of spending a whole week configuring
your vimrc so it can be barely usable. Or spending two hours trying to
find the right option in the docs, yea, vim is really productive...

Hehe... ed is cool indeed, and definitely much simpler and cleaner
than vim, but that's not what the starter of this thread was talking
about; he was talking about _productivity_, on which vim outscores ed
"with two fingers in the nose" as they say in the Netherlands.
