There are already two 9P implementations in pure ruby[1], do you really think creating ruby bindings for libixp is a good idea? libixp pretty much sucks, and needs to be seriously re-designed. if you want to create bindings, why not use a saner library, like lib9p from p9p[2]?
Also would love to know what do you plan to use the bindings for. Curious uriel [1]: see http://cat-v.org/9p/ [2]: http://plan9.us On 1/23/07, Daniel Waeber <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

The patch I talked about is the implementation of the #-tag. And the rii is another project I am working on, theirfore I have no time implementing the #-tag, so all of this has noting to do with ruby-ixp. The 10 min problem I have is because I have to do so many things in so short time, Therefore I will not begin to do even more things that can't be finisched. But if you find a solution to that problem I would be glad to get the patch ;) Regards wabu PS: If I have enoght time to set up a webpage for rii(libixp ruby bindings wirtten in C -> speed) I'll post a link to it if anyone wants to know more about it, but that's a different topic. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFtns6BbWbHb9PeLsRAhrgAJ48+7fSqcyta3OTaAHBNJ9YJ65/KwCfRDqK hfWCYoLOdGmwLfw1K1VpLQo= =Vvuv -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
