I've got a feeling that if there was an elegant way to embrace
double-head set ups, it would be done already - but, as a new-comer,
I've missed what might have been said already on this topic.

This comment prompted me to reply to say I know of at least two
situations where it is useful to be able to display a single
client/window across screens.  One is using complex spreadsheets with
many columns, and the other is working with Blender 3D (which has it's
own, internal tiling interface).
