Try to install dmenu 3.2 also.

Hello everybody,

first of all, thanks to everyone involved in creating wmii! It's what I looked for for a long time.

Unfortunately, when I switched from the wmii-version that came with etch (3.1.something) to the latest snap (wmii+ixp-20070516, built with "make deb" without changing config.mk) the menus that should appear when pressing Mod1-a, Mod1-p, Mod1-Shift-t and so on didn't appear any more.

switching/moving Windows, starting xterms, ... all work. Calling dmenu directly also works. and when I call "wmiir read /keys", the result contains the necessary key combinations as well. I didn't change any configuration files.

(Regarding wmiir, there I have another problem: "calling wmiir read /" produces only byte garbage, no readable text)

I would be grateful, if anybody could point me in the right direction - thanks!

Regards,

Bernhard
