Hello Everybody, First off, many thanks for the software. I tried some of the predecessors, then recently version 3.5 but went back to fvwm because of a few annoyances (mostly with how windows that wanted to float were handled; pidgin, gimp, etc). I did love the whole view concept so I gave it another try when I saw version 3.6 in Gentoo's portage.
I'm very impressed. Most things handle really well and while I still have a few things I'd like to fix, wmii feels great and I look forward to work and play with it. A recent email to the list raised a question that I've wanted to ask: On 1/22/08, Kris Maglione <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This has been the case with all > apps which open splash windows for some time. If not, how about in the snapshot? I have this script that runs through a few videos and displays them in a small window in a corner of my screen so I can have it play in the background. Each time a new video starts, it takes focus from the application that I was working with. I'm frequently typing which can mess up the player. Again; thanks, Martin
