'kill -9' is not very gut idea, if program must do enithing bevor it be
closed.
Yeah, that's where I was going... You don't use kill -9 or hit the power
button (unless you have too) when you want close an application or shut
down your computer. You usually want your application and computer to
quit gracefully, right?
