In order to make it work, for me, I had to have the latest tip of libixp 
in the hg repo, is that what you have as well?

yes, libixp is already installed, I have added "/usr/local/lib" in
/etc/ld.so.conf and did <ldconfig -v>.
  
I don't understand why the hg rip can not find libixp when stable version
finds it without any trouble.
