hg2398 works fine for me. I can even switch between clients on the

a spurious window border, I posted a bug report on the Google thing.

I'll look into it. Thanks.

I think it would be sufficient if the bar was only present on one
screen, because the bar on the second screen would not give more
information. It would be nice to have something in /ctl which specifies
which screen the bar is on. wimenu can be on top of the other windows
when there is no bar, so no need for having wasted space. Just my thoughts.

There will always be the option to show and fill the bar on both screens. It'll be able to be turned off on any or all screens.

As for the clients being lost when removing a screen: Couldn't you send
them all to the other screen when this happens? I know, everything gets
complicated when you have more than two screens. But a primary monitor
could be specified just like with the bar I wrote above.

No, that's not an option. If you want that, you'll have to write a (rather simple) script to do it. As I've said, you'll be able to show whichever screens on whichever monitor you want, so clients won't even be lost.

For a long time it puzzled me how something so expensive, so leading
edge, could be so useless, and then it occurred to me that a computer
is a stupid machine with the ability to do incredibly smart things,
while computer programmers are smart people with the ability to do
incredibly stupid things. They are, in short, a perfect match.
