Hi all,

I have installed the wmii port (wmii-3.6.1) under FreeBSD 7.1 release.
As suggested in the fax, I added the line:

/fdescfs /dev/fd fdescfs rw 0 0

to my /etc/fstab file.

While wmii appears to work fine, when I exit the X server I find the
following error messages on the console:

***
rc.wmii.local: not found
overridekeys: not found
wmiir: fatal: cannot read file/directory '/event': broken pipe

waiting for X server to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/mi
sc/" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.
wmiir: fatal: can't mount: Connection refused

echo: write error: Broken pipe
***

Is this something I need to worry about, and if yes is there a way to fix it?

By the way, the FreeBSD port installs the following files:

/usr/local/man/man1/wmii.1.gz
/usr/local/man/man1/wmiiloop.1.gz
/usr/local/man/man1/wmiir.1.gz
/usr/local/bin/wmii
/usr/local/bin/wmii9menu
/usr/local/bin/wmii9rc
/usr/local/bin/wmiiloop
/usr/local/bin/wmiir
/usr/local/bin/wmiistartrc
/usr/local/etc/wmii-3.5/rc.wmii
/usr/local/etc/wmii-3.5/welcome
/usr/local/etc/wmii-3.5/wmiirc

so there is no mention of the (not found) rc.wmii.local.

Thanks for any suggestions,

very best

 giuseppe
