On second thought, I'd rather have the WM support this behavior. In a way, it already does: when wmii-3 is run, it starts with a default view "1" which has _no_ clients! I want the same kind of functionality to be more generally available in the WM. For example, I want to make a new empty view and focus it; if the view is empty when I move away from it, then the WM should destroy it. This is just like what Jeremy described: "an empty can only exist while it is current". -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFE9fZTmV9O7RYnKMcRAvrMAKCe5pATAM+AfYdOe4kHUa5wcNO/PgCgmlHT cr3l35N+ADOPYuLYGNdZO8E= =J5LR -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://wmii.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wmii
