Were I the locals, I'd be concerned about weak 11pm lead-ins... because the back half of the show is not currently interesting. I wonder if any will ask for permission to do news at 10pm and run Leno at 1030pm. That could actually have a revolutionary impact on people's viewing habits... if it worked, NBC would create three edges for itself at once (10pm, 1030pm and 1130pm), although the net effect would be an overall reduction of 60 to 90 total minutes viewed. By the way, if you're Conan, you've got to be pissed. He's spent the last six months Lenoizing his show (not just in terms of level of humor, which was probably necessary, but also as far as dumb humor crutches like video bits inside the monologue that have made Jay so... Jay)... and now Leno's just going to pack up the whole thing and move it up an hour and a half.
