For some reason, ahem, the Cubs are not included in the Tribune bankruptcy fire
sale.

I fear for the LA Times, though.

Just curious, does anyone know if the Chicago Tribune and the Sun-Times have a
joint operating agreement?

The Rocky Mountain News in Denver is going down, too...up for sale, no buyers,
and shutting down next month. They have a JOA with the Denver Post. Not pretty
times for these folks, many of whom are colleagues of mine.
