LOL. No Al Gore, it is not the CO2 coming from the combustion of diesel that is causing the kids to get sick but it the particulate particles (PM 10 or less) from the incomplete combustion of diesel fuel that is causing the illness.
Remember diesel fuel is much more heavier and dirty than gasolina. Also, according to al-gorian wisdom car manufacturers should make better fuel efficient cars right? Well if you have 100 percent complete combustion of a fossil fuel what are the by-products; H20 and CO2 right? So having a more fuel efficient car will produce more CO2 into the atmosphere - so what you have here is an al-gorian catch 22.
