And I am an end-user, not willing to lose time figuring how to get to
debug informations to help the game be corrected. But If a debug package
is provided, I'm happy to install it, run the game and check the core
dump with gdb.

I'd give you the backtrace, and everyone would be happy.

I don't undertand: it's trivial to setup the source package to generate
a debug binary package, it doesn't take much space on the repository,
and it would be completely automatic when set up. What's the problem?
