Follow-up Comment #1, bug #5738 (project wormux):

No problem on my system with svn version nor with ubuntu-breezy package.

This should be a problem of different libstdc++ ?

It's really strange since Mix_HaltChannel()  means it's related to sound and
no sound is played when selected a new weapon !?!

A debug package should be really usefull...
