Details:
I was just trying to build from tips on a clean platform. ./configure caught
that I didn't have some SDL libraries, but missed that I don't have curl.
Instead I got a compiler error during make.
I would try to make a patch, but I know next to nothing about autoconf and
generated build scripts.
