The problem is that multiple variables have changed, so we really don't know what is to blame. You also reverted your version of WP. It could be that there was a php error of some sort in the actual files, possibly a bad plugin interaction if you had plugins installed.

OK, let's look at the whole tale:

1. After installation it worked fine with my plug-ins installed. I then added it to a second installation and it seemed to work OK there two.

2. I noticed that one of my plug-ins, Star Ratings, needed an update, and installed it.

3. I then noticed the problem beginning to occur, and it spread over all pages on one of the installations, but not the second, which had basically the same plug-ins.

4. I disabled this plug-in -- same result. Just the header, no content.

5. I went back to my previous WP installation, 2.2.2, using the upgrade option to adjust database or whatever. Problem persisted.

6. I reverted to previous version of the database, made as a backup prior to the 2.3b2 update, and everything worked fine.

Does this help? It's possible the Star Ratings plug-in was partly responsible, I suppose, but why would deactivation and restoring a database be required?

Peace,
Gene
