I'm evaluating ws_ftp pro v7.04. I've used the sync utility to update a remote site to match my local site. After the sync utility does its thing (and the log screen shows everything going as expected) I look back at the ws_ftp pro screen and see no changes. The Test Script Only check box is unchecked on the sync utility and the Update Folders After Transfer check box is checked in Tools, Options, Advanced, Site.
The ws_ftp pro log frame at the bottom of the screen shows no activity to update the directories. If I click refresh for the remote site the directory is refreshed properly. None of the directories on the remote site are refreshed but all are synced properly. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Am I missing something?? Any ideas??? On another topic; the sync utility Exclude field seems to allow only one folder/file specification. I have not tested this yet but can find no reference or examples in the help file of more than one folder or file being allowed in this field. Can anyone expand on the capabilities here. I would like to exclude several folders and some files (using the allowed wildcards) within other folders. Is this possible?
