Jason, I can accept that as a reasonable interpretation but then what is the "Update Folders After Transfer" check box in the options for? I've gotten responses from Ipswitch that indicate that they think WS_ftp pro itself should refresh itself after the Sync Utility finishes. I admit they may misunderstand my questionand the more I think about it I'm more inclined to believe your interpretation.
Re Exclude; I have found the Ipswitch knowledge base article that says you can put several folders/files in the exclude field if they are separated by commas which answers the question I posed. But I have not been able to get the exclude to do what I think it should be doing. If I exclude (relative) a folder, the sync utility acts like it finds no files in that folder on the destination site and transfers ALL the files from the corresponding folder on the local site. My interpretation of what should happen (the help file is less than sparse) is that it should'nt transfer anything to the excluded destination folder. Any ideas?
