How do I send big files to my son, and daughter who also have ws_ftp95? Is there a tutorial?
We found our computers IP (?) numbers, and want to transfer files. He's in Fla, Im in AR, and my daughter is in Germany. Is it practical to FTP 50, 100, and 150MB files this way? I'm on Starband satellite ISP, and the kids are on DSL. Can you tell me the important items that must me entered in ws-ftp95? Where does our IP #'s go? Under the General tab there is Profile name, Host name/address, Host Type, User ID and Password. On the Startup tab there is Initial Remote Host Dir, Initial Local Dir. I think we leave Advanced default, right? I have used ws_FTP95 to upload to my webpage so I think I can work it if I know how to setup the info mentioned above.
