Hi,   I also got this error when using an evaluation version 8 of Ws FTP Pro: Error result 80042003 reading response line Prior to this I was using version 6.6 and instead got the following messages when attempting to open a folder on an ftp server: ! Receive error: Blocking call cancelled ! Retrieve of folder listing failed (4) I have tried all the help file suggests (change from active to passive and increase network timeout) but still no success. The problem happens repeatedly with one particular folder and sometimes with other folders on the same server. The server is ProFTPD 1.2.8. The following is an excerpt from the log window of ver. 6.6: Host type (I): UNIX (standard) PORT 192,168,200,7,13,9 200 PORT command successful LIST 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list [240] accept from 204.244.184.5 port 20 Received 994 bytes in 0.1 secs, (90.00 Kbps), transfer succeeded [152] looking for completion line ! Receive error: Blocking call cancelled ! Retrieve of folder listing failed (4) I would appreciate any insight into solving this problem.
