Hi Mike, Yes I have but it's really a custom batch file. I had 2 big problems with automating WS_FTP Server. 1) I tried to use the Event Commands which are now called Rules but they didn't work for me because even though you can setup more than one Rule for say an upload event, as soon as a Rule is succesful it stops processing any other Rules for that event. For example, I wanted to send email notification for all uploaded files and to also automatically unzip ZIP files. No can do, it's either one or the other. It depends on which rule is first since both rules are succesful if a ZIP file is uploaded. 2) The other problem was calling other programs from WS_FTP Server. I downloaded and installed the WinZip Command Line add-on. I setup an upload rule which calls the program (wzunzip). Everything worked great on my test files which were small in size. But then, I tried a customer ZIP file which contained a 45mb file. Only 1.93mb of the file would unzip. And it was always 1.93mb. I tried calling wzunzip from a batch file and everything else I could think of to no avail. I'm still in contact with Ipswitch support about this problem.
If you only need to do one task, hopefully a Rule will work for you. Otherwise you may have to get creative. Email me if you need any help.
