Hi all,

I'm trying to work out the following configuration and can't seem to get it to where I want.  Here's what I'm trying to do.

All users are locked to their home directory.

I have user X with home directory users\X.  This is a regular user.

I have user Y with home directory users\Y.  This is also a regular user.

I have user Z with home directory users\Z.  This user needs to be able to put files in X and Y.  I have set up 2 virtual directories.  The first is called X pointing to users\X and the second is called Y pointing to users\Y.  The permissions for both of these virtual directories are set to user Z, and I have the checkmark set to "Include in user home directory".  So when Z logs in it should see X and Y, which it does.

Here's my problem.  Leaving things as stated above, X or Y can log in, but they are in limbo somewhere.  I cannot change directories or put files or anything.  To remedy this, I added permissions for X to the X virtual directory and the same for Y.  They are able to log in, but they now have an extra directory (X and Y respectively) listed.

Is there a way I can get X, Y and any other user logged in without the extra directory showing up?  Is there a better configuration to use?  I'm still trying different things, but if someone has a suggestion I would be grateful.

TIA,
Gary Carmichael
