Greetings to all the WS_FTP Forum readers and contributors. My name is Kevin Gillis and I'm the Product Manager for the File Transfer product line which includes WS_FTP Pro, WS_FTP Pro SDK and WS_FTP Server.
We are conducting some market research into the interest level in Ipswitch providing WS_FTP Pro/SDK/Server training in the future, as we are successfully doing so with our other product lines, namely Network Monitoring (WhatsUp Gold) and Messaging (IMail). I'm interested in hearing what type of training you would be looking for in terms of duration, level and delivery method. If you have any interest, please respond directly to the Training Manager ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with comments and ideas on the following 3 areas: 1) What duration of training are you looking for? - 2 hrs to 1/2 day - 1 full day - more than a full day 2) What level of training do you need? - beginner, new to product - intermediate, know the basics and looking for more - advanced topics only like Synchronization, Scheduling, Automation, client server SSL/SSH connections and SDK for WS_FTP Pro and firewall/NAT support, Virtual folders and hosts, SSL connections, client/server SSL and more for WS_FTP Server. 3) What training medium would you prefer? - self-paced (printed books and/or lab materials only) - self-paced (video tape) - self-paced / CBT (CD or DVD format) - self-paced (on-line, web-based material) - distance or on-line learning (instructor-led, but remote via a computer and web browser) - classroom / live, instructor-led training Thanks very much for any feedback you can provide.
