OK... Bug has been verified and as per ipswitch
support is in "Q&A" as "858" whatever that means. Resolution is unknown at
present.
Seems that only one other customer has called this bug
in.

Hi,
I have
noticed a major behavior change in the way WS_FTP Server V5 deals with Virtual
Folders that are flagged to "Include in user home folder listing". In the past a
folder could be set to show in the home folder, Allow Writes, and Allow
Deletes but not allow the user to List Contents by removing the "List"
right. In the new version the folder will not show in the home folder listing
even when the "Include in user home folder listing" option is selected unless
the user has "List" rights. This "Bug" is causing some major problems for me as
I had several folders on several servers that I did not want users to be able to
"List" but they must be able to "Write" files into this
folder.
