Sad, but true. Ipswitch used to be one of those outfits that you just knew had to have been started and run by hackers -- meant in the BEST sense of the word "hacker", of course, i.e. techie programmers who write programs largely for the pleasure of it and for other techie types like us. They seemed almost more interested in helping folks like us get the most out of our computers than in maximizing their bottom line. They must still have some of those original hackers chained up down in their basement making good software, but now it's the suits who seem to be running things in the front office. Too bad. I sure hope they're keeping those guys down there in the basement well supplied with pizza and Jolt Cola. -- Bob C.

You are right, it should be documented during the install, but it isn't because Ipswitch doesn't think it's a vaild thing to be on the notes during the install. Major management changes have drastically effected the way Ipswitch handles their customers in the past 12-18 monthes. They are more dollar driven than customer driven, sad but true. Great products nonetheless, but for customers, it's gonna get worse.
