Agreed. I started getting return receipts from my messages and realized
that I had replied to a message that had it turned on, so I guess it
stayed on for me. I apologize.

While I find the various messages somewhat entertaining and
enlightening, I have begun to receive "Return Receipt" messages that I
do find rather irritating.  I don't know whether they are due to forum
member actions that involve requesting notification of a message being
received/read or some sort of setting on the list server.  However, I
suspect that some forum members have a habit of (as in, a check box
checked for) requesting either a read receipt or a receive receipt.
(I've run into that before, is why. ;-)
