Thanks, Bill, that helped. (Blush...) Worked some with the new WSJT-X version. It seems to be working mostly fine now.
One peculiarity: The two decode windows suppress the underlength of all letters. When I expect "CQ", I see "CO". Where I expect "Germany", I see "Germanv".
