Hi PIno,

There are several ways,

-You can use the Mint sound panel by right-click and select

-You can use Alsamixer

-You can use ALSA controls directly, here's a simple how too:

For FLDIGI specifically, I select:

Configure >> Sound Card >> Audio Devices

Under PortAudio: Pull Down Menu, I select my USB AUDIO CODECS

Save

Then it is set that way when I start up FLDIGI the next time.
