Many thanks again for your useful help.

I have renamed the source directory used up to now and I have entered 
"svn checkout" in the directory one level up, then I "cd" to the newly 
created directory. I have created the "build" directory in it and I have 
copied the old CMakeCache.txt in the new build directory. Then, I have 
created the link "ln -s /usr/share/asciidoc/images/icons/ 
/home/claude/ham/JoeTaylor/wsjtx/doc/user_guide/./images/icons". 
"cmake-gui" was runs without problems. "make" ends without errors now. I 
will make a tar archive from the old build tree and I will save it.

I hope that will be right now.
