Here's 5685 from the 53-second mark…there's a poll at that time which shouldn't
hurt so I skipped that part
The difference between these two runs is mainly at the Configuration.cpp:661
point where 5685 has ptt=false and 5670 has ptt=true.
And I think the difference is in this patch from 5690.

transmission
m_btxok=false;
}
- if(m_ntr==1) {
+ if(m_ntr) {
WSPR_scheduling ();
m_ntr=0; //This WSPR Rx sequence is
complete
}
When m_ntr!=1 5685 does NOT call WSPR_scheduling which give ptt a chance to go
false in StopTx2. In 5670 it does it when m_ntr==1 or m_ntr==-1 which is
during any transition from Rx to Tx or back if I understand the logic correctly.
Try changing it back to if(m_ntr==1) and see if that fixes the problem.
All the log says on 5690 is this which doesn’t sound relevant to this patch.
"Fix bug in JT4 decodes with MinW=G."
