Hello all,

New member to the group here. If this is the wrong place please would
you point me in the right direction.

I'm having issues with the CAT control of my 'AE9RB Si570 Peaberry V2'
where a 'Rig failure' message with the detail 'Hamlib error: Feature not
available while getting current VFO mode' when I use the 'Test CAT'
button which makes control impossible.

I'm guessing this is because the Hamlib backend in use does not support
the 'get VFO' or 'get Mode' command for the Peaberry. Using 'rigctl -m
2517 v' (or 'm') returns 'error = Feature not available'. Perhaps one
can only set the mode/frequency and not query it.

This is with WSJT-X (Linmux) v1.7.0-devel although the released 1.5.0 is
the same.

The Hamlib appears to be bundled/built with WSJT-X so I'm hoping
somebody can help me with this.

Any pointer appreciated.

Steve
