Hi Bill, At VHF and up, users of WSJT(-X) will generally want to start a session with FTol at a high value. As you say, once set the value persists on another program startup -- so I wouldn't have thought this is a big deal. I guess we could say the default is FTol if the band is above 30 MHz. But (unless I'm missing something) I don't see that making any change is very important.
