Hi Bill and Joe Reasoning behind the suggestion was that I have come across a few situations on the higher bands where folks had not changed from the default low value and weren't getting decodes as a consequence.

Hi Joe, I only think it becomes important if different defaults are appropriate for different bands or modes.
