Hi All, Charlie G3WDG has suggested that FTol=1000Hz is a better default than FTol=10Hz for microwave bands and JT4. Is there a reasonable single default value for FTol for all modes and bands or should the default be conditional? Note this default only applies on a new installation as once it is changed the new value persists.
Further to this perhaps the FTol should be expressed in p.p.m. or percentage of frequency and a display of what that means in frequency calculated or even displayed on the waterfall scale depending on the current band.
