I am new to this list, so if question was asked before, please bear
with me, as I don't know how to browse the archive copy of this group, supposing one does exist. In past versions of his code Joe Taylor used the closed-source Koetter-Vardy soft decoder for the Reed Solomon FEC. At a certain point in time, he declared that the KV decoder was replaced by an open-source one, written by N4HY (if memory serves). Does anybody know if / where the source code of that soft decoder is available ? I am playing with some weak-signal experiments, and maybe could make a good use of it. Thanks, --
