I think you should ask that on the main wsjtx group instead of just the devel
group.I can't imagine there isn't somebody with an opinion on that
one...:-)There's probably somebody trying to complete WAS or such with that
mode. Could always use the old version of course.
Maybe put a warning popup in RC2 to say it's going to be removed in the final
version? Then wait for the cries of anguish?

Another thought concerning a pending -rc2 release.
I suspect it is time to permanently retire the JTMSK mode and remove it
from WSJT-X. It has been superseded by MSK144, which I consider
superior in every meaningful way.
Do I hear any disagreement ?
