Hi Bill,

As we have seen with Mike, I have no difficulties with SSL/TLS
connections when using curl or wget. The used shared openSSL lib is the
same lib as wsjtx is using. Therefore, the difficulties should not come
from the lib itself. Right ?

In fact, I have additional CA certificates installed, not only the
standard ones coming with the Fedora distribution. This is a normal
situation when running a real world system. But there are only usual CA
certificates, nothing else. No exotic ones.

For me, this situation is still strange. Perhaps, the wget logs, which I
have posted, can help to understand the forwarding actions which were
used by wget.

The occurring program crash is obscure also.
