I'm reluctant to endorse using one of these PC to rig audio adapters since they use your computer's sound card. Thus, any computer sounds are at risk for unintentional transmission. Many times, I've heard JT-Alerts, OS sounds, even music and other media that an operator might be enjoying while in the shack.
Best to go with a separate USB sound card that is used ONLY for digital modes. The small extra cost will be made up for in convenience and FCC compliance. George J.
