I’m trying out the FT8 mode with my JT-Bridge app on MacOS running WSJT-X-devel r7821. So far it’s working great, except replying to a CQ over UDP.
Replying to an FT8 CQ over UDP does not generate any standard messages in WSJT-X. Replying to a JT65 CQ when WSJT-X is in FT8 mode does generate standard messages, but it’s using the grid as call: KN04 SM0THU JO89 KN04 SM0THU -21 KN04 SM0THU R-21 KN04 SM0THU RRR KN04 SM0THU 73 CQ SM0THU JO89 Not a very common thing to do, but maybe WSJT-X should switch mode in this case?
