Hi Tom,
the "if desired" refers to the developers not the users, sorry. If a
mode offers an auto-sequence option then it should work the same as any
other mode that offers it. We only offer auto-sequencing on fast modes
and FT8 where it is not really practical to keep up with the pace by
eyeball and mouse. For slower modes where there is plenty of time we
stick to the principle that the user must take action to progress the QSO.
