Another thing I am just thinking of and maybe I missed it, but maybe a mention of a priori with a description of what it is.
Just had a series 5 decodes of CT1HZE here CQing on FT8 mode on 6 meters. His last decode was at -23 with a1 showing on the side. That made me think of it. 😊 73 Jay KA9CFD -----Original Message----- From: Joe Taylor [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: August 2, 2017 21:21 To: WSJT software development <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] User Guide updates for WSJT-X Version 1.8 Hi Jay, Thanks for the feedback. The X Fast modes in WSJT-X send their messages repeatedly in a single Tx sequence. The single-frame message duration is generally much less than the T/R sequence length. FT8 sends transmits its basic message frame exactly once in a Tx interval. It is therefore deemed to be a slow mode. (It's just not as "slow" as the one-minute slow modes.) > 2. This is still TBD. The User Guide is *never* finished, hi. -- Joe, K1JT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
