Hi Rick,

it is doing what it promises, i.e. returning to the last used frequency. Used in this context means the last frequency when monitor was enabled. The intention is that you can click "Monitor" off and then operate in another mode, e.g. work a new one on CW or phone on the same or anther band, then when done click "Monitor" on and return to exactly where you were. I believe this fits your requirement in that each configuration will return to where it last was at so long as it has "Monitor off at startup" unchecked and "Monitor returns to last used frequency" checked. If the former is checked then you will need a further step to return to the last used frequency i.e. click "Monitor" on. If the latter is unchecked then starting WSJT-X or switching to a configuration with that setting will be passive and not change the rig. there is a caveat to that last statement as some rigs require some changes to be made to the rig when opening the CAT connection to discover its current state (mostly Icom rigs).
